Confirmation of Professional Standing
Teachers who want to teach in another country may be asked to provide confirmation of their teaching qualifications and registration status. The Board can provide teachers who are currently or previously registered to teach in Tasmania with written confirmation of verified qualifications, registration history, and character, known as a Letter of Professional Standing.
To request a Letter of Professional Standing, please email trb@trb.tas.gov.au. Include the details of the contact person, address, and any relevant reference number, so we can email the letter directly to the employer or regulatory authority. We will ‘CC’ you in the email so you can retain a copy of the letter for your records.
Note: The fee to prepare a Letter of Professional Standing is $39.03. We will generate an invoice in your TRB Online account which shows the payment information. Your letter will be provided once your payment is received and reconciled.
