Hats off to teachers! On Friday 28 October, Australia celebrates World Teachers’ Day 2022.

Our teachers have shown incredible resilience throughout greatly challenging times, as they strive to provide the best possible outcomes for students now and for their futures.

Celebrate being part of this honorable profession or show your appreciation to teachers.

We’re encouraging students, their families, and the community to celebrate teachers, or teachers to celebrate themselves as a member of this honourable profession.

On the day, you can show your appreciation to teachers by posting a “hats off” selfie on social media, either on your own or with family, friends, or colleagues. Use these tags: #WTD2022 @aitsl

Of course, every day is a great day to celebrate teachers, and for teachers to be proud of what they do. So if it’s not Friday 28 October 2022 or you’re not one for posting selfies on social media, tell a teacher what you appreciate about them.
