Review to Inform a Better and Fairer Education System Consultation
A Ministerial Reference group is conducting a review to enable them to make recommendations to the Education Ministers. This consultation process will inform the next agreement to improve education outcomes in Australia.
This survey provides an opportunity for students, teachers, parents, and guardians to contribute their perspectives and help shape the future of education in Australia.
The Expert Panel for the Review will use the results to help draft a consultation paper which will invite submissions from all stakeholders. Results will also inform the development of recommendations for the final report, which will advise Education Ministers on what targets and reforms should be included in the next National School Reform Agreement. The Expert Panel will deliver a final report to all Education Ministers by 31 October 2023.
The survey, conducted by the Social Research Centre, is available online from 23 May to 23 June 2023.
Participants will be asked about student learning and wellbeing, teacher recruitment and retention, and funding transparency and accountability.
