Greg Suitor retired from teaching
as Principal of Elizabeth College. He has been appointed
by the Minister for a second term as Chair of the Teachers Registration
Board.

Helene Gerke was appointed to the Board in May 2006
as a practising state school teacher and has been re-appointed to continue
for the term of the third Board. Helene is a teacher at
Bridport Primary School.

Bob Phillips works with the Strategic Policy and
Performance group for the Department of Education. He was appointed to the
Board in March 2009 as the Department of Education nominee.

Tony Freeman is Principal of Fahan. He has been appointed to the
third Board as the nominee of the Association of Independent
Schools, Tasmania.

Majella Kelly is Congregational Leader of the
Presentation Sisters and has
been re-appointed to the third Board as the Catholic Education
Office nominee.

Lillian Smith is a teacher at
Taroona High School. She has been appointed to the third Board
as the Australian Education Union (Tasmanian Branch) nominee.

Adrian Zolati
is a
practising teacher at Our Lady of Lourdes School, Devonport. He has been
appointed to the third Board as the Independent Education Union (Tasmania) nominee.

Barry McFarlane is Head of SOSE
Faculty at Friends' School and President of the
Tasmanian Independent School Teachers Association. He
has been appointed to the third Board as
the Association's nominee. Barry has been the nominee of the
Tasmanian Independent School Teachers Association on the Board since the
commencement of registration.

John Williamson is Professor of Education within
the Faculty of Education at the University of Tasmania.
He has been appointed to the third Board as the University of
Tasmania nominee.

Lisa Gillard has been appointed to the
Board as the Tasmanian State School Parents and
Friends Incorporated nominee.
